1. What takedowns is and is not
takedowns is a takedown workflow tool, not a hosting provider. We do not host user-uploaded media, so DMCA takedown notices directed at content on takedowns.vesamuni.com itself are not applicable. The DMCA notices we send on your behalf target third-party hosts and search engines where infringing copies of your work have been found.
2. Submitting a takedown through takedowns
To send a takedown through takedowns you need an account and a case folder. From the dashboard, you review a finding, confirm the match, and authorise dispatch. takedowns generates a notice tailored to the host (DMCA, NCII-specific process, or platform-specific form) and sends it under your name.
3. Submitting a counter-notice to takedowns
If you believe a takedown notice takedowns sent on behalf of a user was sent in error, you may submit a counter-notice. Send the following to our team with the subject line "Counter-notice":
- Identification of the material that was removed or to which access was disabled.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the relevant court.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
We forward the counter-notice to the original complainant. If they do not file a court action within 10–14 business days, we may restore the original finding status in the affected case.
4. Repeat infringers
takedowns is a takedown tool, not a hosting provider, so the DMCA "repeat infringer" termination policy applies to accounts that abuse the dispatch system, not to users of the platform. We terminate accounts that submit knowingly false takedown notices.
5. Designated agent
Vesamuni Cybersecurity is the operator of takedowns. For service-of-process or other formal DMCA correspondence, contact our team.
